Elsa Majimbo has beaten everyone else in her category to bag the coveted 2020’s E! People’s Choice Awards African Social Star Category.
The Kenyan teen who is an internet sensation beat 7 others, among them the decorated South African Kwaito queen Sho Madjozi.
Others who were nominated alongside Majimbo included Karl Kugelmann, Dimma Umeh, Wian, Lydia Forson, Thuso Mbedu and Zozi Tunzi.
Majimbo took to Twitter after her win, thanking over 1M fans on Instagram and over 230k on Twitter for helping her secure the win.
Her win last evening preceded her interview with the Allure Magazine in which she shares secrets of her uber simple skin-care routine- petroleum jelly.
