Citizen TV news anchor Lulu Hassan has been feted with the prestigious Tuzo ya Mwanamke wa Shoka 2022 award for her remarkable role in the East African film industry.
The news was shared by her husband Rashid Abdallah who took to Instagram to congratulate her for the award.
He noted that she had become an inspiration to many people in the region.
"Hongera sana @loulou_hassan kwa tuzo hii ya heshima. Uwepo wako na mchango wako katika tasnia ya filamu umehisiwa Afrika Mashariki. Endelea kugusa nafsi za wengi." he said.
