Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has admitted that the ODM leader Raila Odinga as the only politician in the country who enjoys a fanatical following in Kenya.
Speaking to NTV's Crowd For Hire feature, the Senator said Raila enjoys the support of many Kenyans who are willing to put their lives in the life for him.
He said the ODM boss is the master of crowds and knows how to move them around.
"Fanatical following will follow you without any pay. There is only one person who has fanatical supporters in this country, Raila Odinga. He Has diehard supporters," Malala said.
Malala, who is supporting deputy president William Ruto for the presidency, appeared to suggest that the DP's crowd is not as natural as Raila's.
ODM leader Raila is said to be a man who never budgets for big crowds.
Many claim most of the people who turn up at his rallies are loyal supporters who show him, love, by gracing his rallies.
Crowds have been a matter of concern for many politicians who will work hard to make sure they pull crowds that can back their rallies.
Some of this crowd are sometimes hired while others are organic.
Politicians use the crowds to show how popular they are and lure the undecided voters to back them because they have created a perception that they have the majority on the other side.
