Socialite Vera Sidika has said that she is lucky to be alive after she underwent a butt surgery, which she termed as the hardest phase of her life.
In a long post on Instagram on Wednesday, October 5, she said that it was necessary for her to undergo the surgery due to health complications.
"This has been the hardest phase in my life, Due to health risks & complications, I had to undergo surgery. It’s Still very unbelievable but I’ve come to terms with it & learnt to love myself regardless," she stated.
She went ahead to advise ladies to learn to love and appreciate themselves and not run into peer pressure to change their bodies.
"Ladies; pls learn to love yourself & don’t ever let peer pressure rush u into things that will ruin you in future. I’m lucky to be alive, God loves me so much," Vera said.

The social media personality went ahead to say that things have been hard for her to the extent that she did not celebrate her birthday this year.
She added that she now appreciated life and did not take things for granted, even as she thanked her husband, Brown Mauzo, for being there for her.
"Honestly It’s been pretty hard, I didn’t even celebrate my bday this year, but here we are. Happy birthday to me. New me. I’ve come to appreciate life & never take things for granted. Thanks to my family, especially my husband for being there for me," she added.
She, however, assured her fans that she was the same Vera, promising to share videos of her surgery journey.
"To my fans: I am still the same sweetest Vera Sidika and that hasn’t changed. I appreciate y’all love & support & pray you will walk through this journey with me. I will be posting my surgery journey videos here, for those who have been thinking of getting booty surgery or changing anything on their bodies this might change your mind," Vera stated.
