NRG Radio presenter Prudence Tonui alias King Kalala has announced her exit from the radio station.

In a statement posted on her Instagram account on Tuesday, October 8, the radio personality revealed that she was quitting to pursue new ventures.

However, she did not detail the exact ventures that she was going to pursue.

Nonetheless, Kalala took the opportunity to that NRG Radio fans for supporting her using her time at the station based in Westlands.



"After much thought, I have decided to part ways with NRG Radio. This decision wasn’t easy, but I believe it’s time for me to explore new directions and focus on exciting new ventures ahead," she wrote.

"I’m beyond grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had to grow and collaborate with such a talented group. While this chapter closes, I’m excited about the future and can’t wait to share the next steps with you."

On the other hand, she also thanked her colleagues for supporting her and helping her grow her talent.

Kalala is among the notable presenters who have left NRG Radio in recent days. Just over the weekend, Natalie Githinji also announced her departure from the media house. after serving for five years.

"I am deeply grateful for the support of the talented team I had the pleasure of working alongside and I take immense pride in what we have achieved together. My departure marks the close of a significant chapter for me and the company but I am excited about the paths that lie ahead." Githinji wrote on her Instagram.
