Celebrated Kenyan comedians and content creators Timothy Kimani alias Njugush and his wife Celestine Ndinda have unveiled a new mini-bus named after their firstborn son Tugi.
The bus unveiled in a video on Celestine Ndinda's YouTube channel, has been placed under the management of Super Metro Sacco and is expected to ply the Nairobi-Kitengela route.
Tugi is a 33-seater bus manufactured by Isuzu. The name Tugi is labelled on the front and sides of the bus. The Chicago Bulls logo is at the back, indicating that the comedian's family probably supports the American-based basketball team.

During the unveiling, Njugush dressed as a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) driver in a sky blue shirt and navy blue trouser, while Celestine was in a PSV conductor's uniform: a maroon top and trouser.
Inside the Matatu
The matatu's exterior lacks detail, but its interior is filled with photos of people who've played a key role in the couple's entertainment and business journey.
The first image you see when you walk in is of Philip Karanja, who worked with Njugush and Celestine on various projects, such as the Through Thick and Thin (TTNT) live show series.
Another familiar face is that of Judy Nyawira, who has been the brand manager for both Njugush and Celestine.

The other famous face featured in the bus is renowned comedian and writer Eddie Butita, who's been working closely with the couple in their creative development and scripting of their TTNT show.
The couple has also placed their image at different parts of the bus, giving it a fantastic interior look that is expected to entertain customers using the matatu.
Interestingly, Njugush's mentor and closest friend Abel Mutua's image hasn't featured anywhere in the matatu.
Explaining why he opted to exclude Abel's image, Njugush jokingly stated that he compared Abel and avocado and established that the latter is better and deserved a place on his bus; that's why he has an image of avocados and not Abel.
The bus also has a powerful music system and a screen, where travelers can watch music videos or whatever content is broadcasted as they travel.
Speaking during the unveiling, Njugush noted that anyone who has a function and needs transportation should contact the management and hire the bus.
The new acquisition is a testament that hard work pays. Njugush and Celestine went through a difficult time, coupled with challenges such as being jobless, but they have since emerged on the other side as champions and a source of inspiration to young people.
