President William Ruto and Azimio leader Raila Odinga have yet again engaged in an online spat over the removal of four embattled IEBC commissioners from office.
In a tweet on Saturday evening, December 3, the Head of State dismissed Raila's plans to stage nationwide protests in solidarity with the four, who are IEBC Vice Chair Juliana Cherera, commissioners Francis Wanderi, Irene Masit and Justus Nyang'aya.
President Ruto termed the former Prime Minister's plan as delusional, maintaining that the four must face the rule of law.
"Stop deluding yourself & lying. The coup to overturn the people's will using rogue commissioners, you are now threatening us with maandamano about, failed. Their guilt or innocence will be determined by the tribunal. Rule of law it is," President Ruto tweeted.

However, Raila quickly countered the Head of State's remarks with a past video where Ruto was protesting against the then electoral body over inconsistencies in election results.
In the video, Ruto, who was then a member of the ODM pentagon, complained that in some polling centres, the presidential votes were higher than the total number of votes for other elective posts.
"Usijifanye leo hii kwamba umesahau when the shoe was firmly on the other foot. Let me just leave this here," Raila captioned the video.
Meanwhile, President Ruto has already dismissed the four IEBC commissioners and formed a tribunal to probe them.
Raila on the other hand postponed the Azimio nationwide protests to December 7.
