Lang'ata Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor aka Jalang'o on Tuesday, February 7, met President William Ruto at State House. 

In an update following via Twitter, Jalang'io said among the things they discussed with the Head of State is the affordable housing project in Lang'ata. 

"Today we had breakfast with the president, I followed up on the Start date of the construction of affordable housing in Highrise ward and the completion of the Langata TVET. The project is on and the contractor is on ground, an extra 50Million has been located for the completion," Jalang'o stated. 

ODM MPs at State House 

A section of ODM MPs was also present at State house from the Nyanza region during the Tuesday meeting at State Hosue.

The leaders from Nyanza who were present include; Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Mark Nyamita (Uriri), Caroli Omondi (Suba South), Shakeel Shabir (Kisumu East, Independent), Paul Abuor (Rongo), John Owino (Awendo) and Tom Ojienda (Kisumu). 

A source who spoke to Nairobileo.co.ke indicates the Members of Parliament from the Nyanza region have agreed to work with President Ruto.
