ODM Leader Raila Odinga has sensationally accused Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of plotting mayhem during Monday's demonstrations organized by the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance.
Raila in a detailed statement accused the Deputy President of planning to cause violence during the demonstration in a bid to block it from happening.
“It has come to our attention that Gachagua is currently coordinating a major operation against planned Azimio la Umoja protest rallies scheduled to take place in Nairobi tomorrow,” Raila's statement reads in part.

According to Raila, a group of youths has been mobilized to target Azimio leaders and youths during the protests.
"In Nairobi, public service vehicles have been deployed to ferry youth to places like Jogo Road, Kibra, Pandora, Hyrum, Muthurwa, Kayole, Kariobangi, Korogocho, Mlango Kubwa, Githurai 44 and Githuri 45," Raila claimed
"Their mission is to target Azimio leaders in Nairobi including Babu Owino (Embakasi East MP), Opiyo Wandayi (National Assembly Minority Leader), Edwin Sifuna (Nairobi Senator), and Jeremiah Kioni (Jubilee Leader), among others."
He says the plan is also being hatched in regions where he accused Azimio rebel MPs of planning to attack pro-Azimio protests in Nyanza and the Western region.
“A number of rebel Azimio Members of Parliament (MPs) from these regions have been deployed in support of this mission, especially in western Kenya and Nyanza,” he further stated.
Raila has called his supporters to turn out in large numbers and hold demos on Mondays and Thursdays every week.
