First Lady Rachel Ruto has come out to publicly celebrate her husband, President William Ruto, on his birthday with a heartwarming message.
Ruto turned 57 on Thursday, December 21, and Rachel publicly celebrated him by sharing a message of goodwill.
By referring to him as Bill, Rachel noted that Ruto was her friend and confidant.
"Happy Birthday, Bill, my cherished friend and confidant. On this momentous day, as we celebrate your birthday and our wedding anniversary, I am filled with gratitude," Rachel wrote.

The First Lady went on to describe her husband as a source of her joy and strength. Rachel also confessed to their undying love.
"Your love and support have been a true blessing. Thank you for being a constant source of joy and strength," she stated.
"Reflecting on the journey we've shared, I am reminded of a verse from the Bible, "There are three things that will endure - faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13," Rachel added.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua also celebrated Ruto's birthday describing him a perfect friend and boss.
Other leaders who celebrated Ruto's birthday included Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and Milicent Omanga among others.
"Happy 57th Birthday President Ruto ! May this day be a reminder of the divine purpose you serve in our nation. May you be surrounded by love and may your leadership continue to be a source of inspiration," Waiguru's message read.
