Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has disclosed that on Tuesday evening, June 18, he visited the policeman injured while handling a teargas canister at the Nairobi West Hospital.
In a post on X, the lawmaker noted that medical officers in the facility were doing a good job to ensure the law enforcement officer recovers.
The MP shared photos of his visit to the hospital and the policeman seemed to be in a stable condition.
"Yesterday evening, I visited Chief Inspector David Maina, the policeman who got injured while handling a tear gas canister, and Corporal Moraa at the Nairobi West Hospital to check on their recovery.
