Attorney General nominee Dorcas Oduor has revealed that she is worth Ksh85 million.
Appearing before the National Assembly Committee on Appointments on Friday, August 9, the AG nominee disclosed that part of her net worth is comprised of land, houses, and a car.
Oduor noted that since the death of her late husband, she has yet to divide the property among her children.
“My family net worth because since my late husband died we have not distributed amongst my children so the total family worth is Ksh85 million,” said Oduor.
She continued “Part of it is land, houses and a car.”

The AG nominee also revealed that she has the Order of the Grand Warrior (OGW) and Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (EGH).
During the vetting, Oduor said she would be a responsible Attorney General if approved by the National Assembly.
She promised to walk with Kenyans to realize the aspirations of the Constitution of Kenya.
"I will be a responsive Attorney General and a lawyer of the people and I hope the office of Attorney General will walk with all people of Kenya in realizing our aspirations under the constitution," Oduor stated.
The AG nominee also vowed to come up with a public participation act that provides guidelines and regulations for involving the public’s views within 100 days of being in office.
Oduor who currently works as Secretary of Public Prosecution at the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions was admitted to the bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1992.
She boasts a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL. B) and a postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
If approved by the National Assembly, Oduor will replace Justin Muturi who now heads the Ministry of Public Service.
