Former Cabinet Secretaries Ababu Namwamba and Aisha Jumwa have denied reports of being left in the cold by President William Ruto despite their support in the 2022 polls.
In response to reports that were published in a local daily, Jumwa maintained her support for Ruto despite being dismissed from Cabinet after the Gen Z protests.
She added that she did not regret supporting Ruto while calling out the media organisation for running the story without her side of the story.

"Who sought my opinion? Taifa Leo, what happened to the right of reply? Now, let me inform you, there is no day that I will ever regret supporting President William Ruto.
"He is a leader that I trust. Stop the petty politics. I am with Ruto until the end," Loosely translated from her tweet on X.
On his part, former Sports CS Ababu Namwamba dismissed the reports adding that he would have sued the media organisation.
"If you weren't broke I would have sued you," the former CS responded.
Following the dissolution of the Cabinet, Namwamba was appointed as the appointed the President of the Africa-China Legal Alliance.
On her part, Jumwa is yet to make a return in government. Notably, while touring Kilifi County in July, Ruto promised to find work for Jumwa in government despite the dissolution of the Cabinet.
"I am not leaving Aisha Jumwa behind, we shall sort her. People of Malindi, let me ask you, who is the one who made Aisha CS? Then I know how to sort her out, Let us all unite to better the country," the Head of State remarked at a rally then.
