Leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Raila Odinga on Saturday joined various leaders in Bomet at KNUT Secretary General Wilson Sossion's home.
The leaders congregated at the unionist's home to celebrate his daughter Rosemary's admission to the bar,becoming the first female lawyer in the area.
The ODM leader was accompanied by COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli together with whom they gifted the nominated MPs' daughter.
Raila gifted the new advocate in Sossion's family with his book, 'The Flames of Freedom,' his own life-story mirroring the triumphs and tragedies of Kenya's struggle to entrench multi-party democracy.

He used the event to urge Kenyans to be ready for the anticipated referendum, saying campaigns to popularize BBI shall resume in the coming weeks.
"We have a pandemic. Corona is still here with us but nobody can stop reggae. Reggae is coming back," stated Mr Odinga.
He pronounced himself on the Mau evictions debate, an emotive issue that has been politicised for close to a decade. He held that there was an elaborate plan by the government to resettle persons evicted from the Mau, but could not dwell further on the subject.
"I made my stand on the Mau evictions. The people are supposed to be given new places of residence and there was a clear plan on how the resettlement is supposed to be done," stated Mr Odinga.
The ODM leader took a swipe at the Deputy President William Ruto terming his frequent donations to youth groups as meaningless as he cited the high level of poverty in the country.
According to Raila, leaders should focus on creating a national cake that can be shared equitably to benefit all Kenyans. This way, Mr Odinga believes, poverty shall be eradicated.
Next week Deputy President William Ruto is expected to tour parts of Luo Nyanza, days after winning Mr Odinga's aide Eliud Owalo to his camp.
