Barely days after KTN Business News Anchor and reporter Brenda Kerubo quit the standard group, Ibrahim Karanja has also quit the media house.
In a statement issued on Friday, July 15, Ibrahim announced that he had quit KTN news after close to four years since joining.
"My tour of duty at the Standard Group PLC. specifically at KTN News has today come to an end after close to Four years of service. Since September of 2018, you have supported me through this journey.
"I've enjoyed the guidance of experienced colleagues who shaped my way all through just like I also enjoyed the support of my peers in the industry," part of the statement read.

The journalist hinted at a new challenge but didn't disclose further his next assignment.
Ibrahim joins a growing number of journalists who have quit the Mombasa road-based station in recent months.
This week, Kerubo announced her departure from the media house saying, "3 years and 7 months.......how time flies...today l will anchor my last bulletin at 9:30 am on KTN news....a place l consider home because of the people. A place where my career rose to a level l would never have imagined. I knew from a young age television is for me but to achieve everything that l have in the last 10 years of broadcast journalism, nope....so much more."
