Cabinet Secretary for Labour Simon Chelugui has thanked President William Ruto after being nominted to serve as the CS for Co-operatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises( MSME) Development.
Chelugui and Monica Juma were the only CSs retained by President Ruto from former Head of State Uhuru Kenyatta's cabinet.
In a statement on Wednesday, September 28, Chelugui noted that it would not have been possible without President Ruto's support and mentorship.
"Thank you Your Excellency Dr. William Ruto, CGH, Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces of the Republic of Kenya for nominating me to the Cabinet, to serve as the Cabinet Secretary for Co-operatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises( MSME) Development.
"Thank your for your faith in me_without your support & mentorship it would not have been possible. Your Excellency, I am very grateful to you for this gesture," the CS stated.
