Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has stated that he does not want the governor's seat maintaining that a governor is always at the mercies of MCAs.
In a tweet on Thursday, December 15, the lawmaker said that if a governor was not in good terms with the MCAs, they could easily eject him/her.
"Being a Governor is the worst job ever. You are always at the mercy of your MCAs if you piss them off they decide it’s time for you to go. When the Senate agrees with them you rush to court while those who employed you are left suffering - Mimi sitaki!" Olekina tweeted.
His remarks come after Meru County MCAs impeached governor Kawira Mwangaza on Wednesday, December 14.
