Nyali MP Mohamed Ali has strongly criticised the LQBTQ community over their stand saying their sexual orientation is illegal.
LGBT is an initialism that stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender.
In use since the 1990s, the initialism, as well as some of its common variants, functions as an umbrella term for sexuality and gender identity.
He asked Kenyans not to waste time discussing the group saying the law is very clear about the community.
"Let us not waste time discussing LQBTQ or whatever name they call it. It’s illegal, God doesn’t like it and we should not entertain it. On this one Democracy my foot! Jail them," the MP tweeted.

The remarks by the MP come at a time when the LGBTQ community is mourning one of its activists and Fashion Model Edwin Kiptoo alias Chiloba.
The news of the LGBTQ activist's death has dominated media headlines and social media discussion with a section of the community alleging he was killed because of his sexual orientation.
The prime suspect in his murder JacKton Odhiambi however confessed to killing Chiloba on allegations that he cheated on him.
The suspect told police in Eldoret that he was involved in a love affair with Chiloba.
Chiloba's family has however denied the possibility of their son being an LGBTQ member saying he was brought up well.
