Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu is today, Friday 20, 2022 expected to release the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam results.
In a communique from the Ministry of Education, the CS will preside over the exercise at the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) offices off Dennis Pritt road in Nairobi.
The CS will first brief president William Ruto on the results before announcing them.
"Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu will tomorrow, Friday, January 20th, 2023 hold a press conference at the offices of the Kenya National Examinations Council on Denis Pritt, near State House, at 8am," the ministry said in a statement to the media.
During the release of the 2022 KCPE results, the CS said the KCSE results will be released before the 2023 academic calendar begins.

The 2023 academic calendar will begin on Monday, January 23.
CS Machogu is unlikely to name candidates who performed well in the exams. He did not reveal the names of the top candidates while releasing KCPE results.
This will be the first KCSE results he will announce since he was appointed Cabinet Secretary.
Previously, the government outlawed ranking but revealed the identities of best-performing candidates and their schools.
In the 2021 exam results, Kenya High School emerged the best with a mean score of 10.467 followed by Kapsabet Boys with 10.11 points.
