Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has issued a piece of advice to Azimio MPs who are planning to visit President William Ruto at State House.
In a Tweet on Wednesday, February 15, Ledama urged the MPs to read the budget and see the projects listed before meeting the Head of State.
“Members of Parliament before rushing to State House to pursue “development projects” look at the budget read the supplementary budget, see which projects are listed hii Ingine ni vipindi,” Ledama stated.

His remarks come days after MPs from the Jubilee and ODM parties met with President William Ruto at State House to discuss development issues.
President Ruto on Monday, February 13 defended the meetings with the Azimio MPs noting that they do not need permission from anyone to work with the Kenya Kwanza government.
“Wakati mwananchi alienda kupiga kura alitupatia ruhusa ya kupanga mambo ya maendeleo na mambo ya kubadilisha Kenya. Hatuhitaji ruhusa ingine kutoka kwa mtu mwingine yeyote kwa sababu kuna watu wamezoea siasa mbaya.
"Kiongozi amechaguliwa na amepewa idhini na wananchi alafu mtu mwingine anaenda kutengeneza barrier, anatengeneza mahali pengine ati lazima sasa kabla haujafanyia wanachi kazi lazima uende uulize mtu flani ruhusa. Hiyo iko wapi katika kabita ya kenya?” Ruto posed.
