Pastor Dorcas has called for the testing of alcohol in the market for harmful substances.
The Wife to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Pastor Dorcas, has called for the testing of alcohol in the market for harmful substances.
Speaking during the burial of her sister-in-law, Nancy Muthoni, in Muranga County on Thursday, February 23, Pastor Dorcas said that some of the alcohol in the market was dangerous and unfit for human consumption.
“The alcohol can be checked at distilling zones to ensure that what is in the market is fit for human consumption, and those producing poisonous alcohol imprisoned to protect lives,” said Pastor Dorcas.
Pastor Dorcas, who is passionate about the boy child, and has included their plight in her national agenda for the nation was supported by some of the leaders who had attended the burial.
More than 40 leaders including a governor, senators, MPs, Woman Representatives, and MCAs, including the Deputy President attended the burial.
The leaders pledged their support for the boy child program under the Office of the Spouse of the Deputy President (OSDP).
“We must take care of the boy child since he is the carrier of the seed for future generations and the nation. As a woman, and together as women, we must say enough is enough to our sons staggering under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
“We will say no to our children taking poison in the name of alcohol, and addictions that are causing families to breakup. If we must change as a country, we must save the boy child,” she stated.
