East African Legislative Assembly MP Kanini Kega on Thursday, March 9, had a rough time after he showed up at an event in Nairobi as Jubilee Secretary-General.
This happened during the people dialogue festival at the National Museum of Kenya In Nairobi.
A standoff ensued after the current office holder Jeremiah Kioni also emerged to perform his duties as the Party’s SG.
This occasioned chaos as rowdy youth roughed up Kanini Kega and ejected him from the venue.

The dramatic incident saw the EALA MP kicked out.
While commenting on the incident, Kega regretted that the former ruling party had been reduced to chaos.
He said the events were shocking since the party was not known for fights.
"Jubilee is known as a peaceful party. What we have seen here today is not Jubilee. We don't fight, " Kanini Kega said.
Various political parties have staged a table at the National Museum where Kenyans can visit and even register themselves as members.
Among the parties present at the function are UDA, Jubilee KUP, KANU, and ODM among many others
