Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has met President William Ruto after years of taking different Political paths.
Kipkorir has been an ardent critic of President William Ruto since when he was former President Uhuru Kenyatta's deputy.
Ahead of the 2022 August 9, polls Lawyer Kipkorir heavily campaigned for the ODM leader Raila Odinga, Ruto's key rival.
But after years of not seeing eye to eye, Kipkorir has revealed that the President invited him to the State House on Thursday, April 20, during which they had a one-on-one talk and repaired their friendship.
"Yesterday (Thursday, April 20, 2022), President William Ruto invited me to State House. I was joined by my friend Attorney General Hon. JB Muturi. Then in a One-on-One with him, the President inquired about the health of my mother who has stomach cancer. He also asked about my village Cheptongei," the lawyer said.

He says during the visit, President Ruto also informed him of his vision to transform the country in line with the Asian Tigers.
Kipkorir said Ruto expressed his desire to strengthen Kenya's bilateral relations with the Asian tiger in a bid to boost the country's economy.
"We reminisced over our friendship that goes back to 1992. I asked for a glass of wine & he told me he pulled down the bar that was there," Kipkorir said.
"I was given delicious short ribs without wine! It was a humbling experience meeting the President & repairing our friendship."
