Majority Leader at the National Assembly Kimani Ichung'wah has hit out at Former President Uhuru Kenyatta over his remarks on Monday regarding having a dialogue with his successor William Ruto.
Uhuru in an interview with media editors said he is yet to talk to Ruto because he has not been invited for any talks.
He said it was difficult for him to go look for Ruto to have a dialogue with him as a former President.
"On President Ruto, I can't invite myself to talk with him but if he reaches to me he is my President and I will go," Uhuru said.

However, in response to remarks by Uhuru, Ichung'wah told him off insinuating that he has nothing to offer Ruto in the form of advice.
Ichung'wah in a message to Ruto said the former President will only offer him advice on issues that will derail his development agenda for the country.
"You get invited if you have worthy advice to give anyone. Unfortunately, here, my friend William Ruto, the only advice you could ever get is on State Capture, Extrajudicial Killings-R. Yala, Impunity, grand family driven looting, playing a small god, self and family ahead of Country, handshakes to facilitate looting etc... you do not need any of these," Ichung'wah tweeted.
Uhuru in the interview said it is a while since he engaged President Ruto saying he is not to blame for that since Ruto has never shown interest.
