The Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company has announced a scheduled water rationing for Kibera and Lang'ata Areas.
A statement by the company on Friday said the rationing will last for 7 days to allow them to secure the Kabete-Lang'ata main pipeline from illegal connections.
"During this period, we have to disconnect unauthorised connections serving the Kibera residents. We endeavour to complete all works by August 18, 2023."
The company said on Friday it directed water to all directions in Kibera to ensure adequate availability and for residents to store for future use.
