Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has asked State House Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei to explain to Kenyans how the Kenya Kwanza government will deal with corruption.
In a statement on his X account on Sunday, September 10, Ahmednasir told Koskei that speeches at workshops will not stop corruption in the country.
“Felix...Kenyans including H.E William Ruto know corruption is killing Kenya. What Kenyans are interested to know...is what you and the President will do...speeches in workshops will not do...Na Mambo is matatu. 1. Go to jail. 2. Forfeit stolen wealth. 3. Go to exile,” said Ahmednassir.
His remarks come after Koskei said corruption in Kenya is at an industrial scale where citizens, businesses, and public entities factor it in their daily expenses.

"The country is grappling with theft of public resources at an industrial scale. Corruption has permeated all aspects of society to the extent that it is normalized and citizens, businesses and public entities factor it in their daily expenses and budgets. The evidence and painful impacts are costly,” Koskei said on Friday in Mombasa.
The Head of Public service urged Members of Parliament to join hands with the executive and the Judiciary to fight corruption saying it will not be possible for one arm of government to do it.
“We have to act and it will not be possible for one arm of government to do it. All of us have to come together,” Koskei added.
