President William Ruto has asked Kenyans to come out in large numbers and support Harambee Star ahead of their clash with South Sudan.
In video footage of his clarion call to Kenyans, the President lauded Harambee Star for a deserved win in their clash against Qatar.
Kenyan trounced the host Qatar 2-1 in their first friendly match. Defender Joseph Okumu and Amos Nondi were on target for Kenya, with Hassan Al Haydos netting the sole goal for Qatar.
The Kenyan team will be playing a friendly match against Bright Stars of South Sudan at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani from 4 PM.

''Congratulations Harambee Stars for winning against the Qatar national team last week. I am very happy so many Kenyans showed up in Qatar to cheer our national team,'' Ruto said.
''As you are all aware, Harambee Stars will today at 4 pm be playing against South Sudan. I want to ask all Kenyans to show up at 4 pm to cheer our champions Harambee Stars.''
The matches form part of the Harambee Star preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers scheduled to begin in November.
Harambee Stars are in group 'F' alongside Seychelles, Burundi, Gambia, Gabon and Co'te d'Ivoire.
