Kenya has recorded 166 new Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 7,077 tested in the last 24 hours, cumulative tally now rises to 98,859.
The cumulative tests conducted in the country now stands at 1,114,198.
Covid-19 recoveries have risen to 82,195 after 262 patients recovered from the disease. According to Health CS Mutahi Kagwe, 254 were on home-based care and eight in hospital.
Three patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours bringing the total deaths in the country to 1726.
A total of 29 patients are in ICU, out of which 14 are on ventilatory support while 14 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen, out of which 13 are in general wards and one in the HDU.
