Environment CS Soipan Tuya has moved to court seeking custody of two children she sired with her estranged husband.
In court papers seen by Nairobi Leo, the CS is seeking Sh425,000 from the estranged husband Stephen Ole Kudate as monthly upkeep for the children.
Kudate is a former Majority leader of the Narok County Assembly. He unsuccessfully vied for the Narok South MP seat in the 2022 elections.
Soipan wants the husband to pay Sh225,000 as school fees for the two children. The amount is 50 percent of the children's Sh450,000 school fees.
Tuya is also seeking an order to compel her estranged husband to pay Sh100,000 for the children's monthly entertainment needs. She argues that the amount is 50 percent of Sh200,000 children's monthly entertainment needs.

She further wants Kudate compelled to pay Sh100,000 which is 50 percent of Sh200,000 for the two children's maintenance.
The CS is also seeking a court injunction barring the husband from abusing her and the children either physically, emotionally, verbally or psychologically.
In what is emerging as a troubled marriage, Soipan further wants the court to stop Kudate from insulting and issuing threats against her of whatever nature.
The Environment CS has asked the court to block Kudate from interfering with her place of work, going near her and even making phone calls to her as well as interfering with her life.
"That the Honourable Court be pleased to issue a permanent injunction restraining the defendant by himself, servants, agents and representatives from accessing, entering or in another manner interfering with the plaintiff and her children's peaceful enjoyment of plaintiff's properties," CS Soipan stated in the affidavit seen by Nairobi Leo.
The affidavit was sworn on September 20, 2023, via Simon S. Wekesa advocates.
The properties she wants the estranged husband blocked from include residential houses in Kileleshwa Estate, Karen Estate in Nairobi and Naroosoru in Narok South.
In the affidavit, Soipan has listed the properties as hers.
"That the Honourable Court be pleased to issue a permanent anti-molestation order/ protection order/ non-molestation order directed to and restraining the defendant either by himself, the servants or agents from accessing the plaintiff home, children's school or anywhere else except as shall be designated and supervised by this honourable court," another request the CS made to the court read.
