A host of suspects in the theft of Sh 94 million belonging to Quickmart Supermarket have been arrested.
Investigators from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) caught up with them on Saturday, November 11.
An Ismael Patrick Gitonga believed to have ferried the main suspects with their loot in his car was arrested.
A police report seen by Nairobi Leo indicated that Gitonga is the owner of the white Toyota Fielder, registration details KBM 751W, with which the suspects fled.
Whilst the vehicle was traced to Njiru in Nairobi, Gitonga was arrested in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado county.

Another suspect, a Martin Nderi Nganga, was also arrested in Kasarani during the operation.

The investigators would then recover an empty box in a forest in Karen, Nairobi.
Investigations are ongoing as the law enforcers strive to recover the remainder of the cash and bring to book the two main suspects.
"All the scenes have been processed by CSI Nairobi Region. Efforts are still underway to trace, arrest and recover the remaining stolen cash," read an excerpt of the police report.
