Health CS Mutahi Kagwe on Tuesday confirmed 81 new Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 2,347 tested in the last 24 hours, national now tally rises to 99,308.
The cumulative tests done in the country now stands at 1, 130,707. Of the 81 cases, 68 are Kenyans while 13 are foreigners, 41 are males while 40 are females.
On the same note, 51 patients recovered from the virus, 31 from home-based care while 20 from various hospitals. The total number of recoveries in the country now stands at 82, 478.
694 patients are admitted at various hospitals countrywide while 1,670 are on home-based care.
29 patients are in the intensive care unit (ICU), 13 on ventilatory support while 13 supplemental oxygen. Three patients are under observation.
