The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has encouraged its graduates to apply for over 1,500 nursing positions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement shared by KMTC on Thursday, December 21, some of the listed opportunities offer up to a salary of Ksh120,000 plus other additional allowances.
General Nurses
Saudi German Hospital for instance requested 1,000 Kenyan nurses. The hospital offers a salary of Ksh124,558 (Three Thousand Saudi riyals and a food allowance of Ksh12,455 (300 SR). They will also provide accommodation for the nurses.

Requirements for applying for the jobs include a Diploma of Science in Nursing and a valid working license issued in Kenya. They will be employed on a two-year renewable contract.
HealthCare Assistants
Other 500 employment opportunities are being offered by Abdal Direct Clients. The company is looking for a Personal Assisant/ HealthCare Assistant.
Applicants are required to have a certificate of nursing, and a minimum of 1 year of continuous experience and female applicants must be between 22- and 35 years.
The basic salary for the position is Ksh91,341 (2,200 SR) and a food allowance of over Ksh12,000. They will work for 8 hours a day for a 2-year renewable contract.
