Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has clarified reports of advertising for well-paying jobs in various departments and airports across the country.
In a statement, KAA debunked the reports indicating that it had listed the jobs as widely shared on various social media platforms.
While terming the poster as fake, KAA advised Kenyans to check for job offers on their official website.
"Do not Be fooled, Be Aware and Share!" the notice read in part.

"Please note, All job opportunities available at the authority are officially advertised in leading daily newspapers and posted on the KAA official corporate website - http://kaa.go.ke/careers."
The faked poster indicated that the Kenya Airports Authority was looking to recruit Planning and Strategy Officers (109), ICT Officers (201), Office Assistants (192) and Security Officers (187).
Others included Administrators, Plumbers, Drivers, Cleaners and Receptionists among others.
The viral misleading poster also announced that all positions were on a permanent and pensionable basis.
Requirements included being a Kenyan citizen and posseing a Diploma from a recognised institution of higher learning.
However, KAA insisted that the job poster was fake and intended to defraud unsuspecting Kenyans. It warned jobseekers against sharing their details with the listed emails as owners can manipulate them and end up using the details for other illegal purposes.
Kenyans are encouraged to verify the details by visiting the website or checking official social media handles to avoid falling victims to fake jobs.
