Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura has told Kenyans to expect a significant reduction in fuel prices as the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Agency (EPRA) is set to announce the monthly pricing schedule.
In a statement on Sunday, April 14, Mwaura said the new prices which will be announced at 3 pm will go a long way in reducing the high cost of living for Kenyans.
“A major announcement on the reduction of fuel prices shall be made today at 3:00 pm by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Agency (EPRA)! This will go a long way in reducing the cost of living in the country for hustlers and Kenyans at large,” Mwaura stated.
The new prices are likely to factor in the Kenyan shilling’s strong performance against the dollar and a drop in global fuel prices last month.
