Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has congratulated his Dagoretti North counterpart Simba Arati after an ugly brawl during a funeral service in Kisii.
On Monday, during Mzee Abel Gongora (father to Kisii DGJoash Maangi), the legislator told off the DP over his dynasty narrative.
Following the controversy, Arati was attacked by Sylvanus Osoro, leading to an ugly brawl in the presence of Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
However, according to Owino, the Dagoretti North lawmaker should not be blamed for the fracas. He believes that Arati should be hailed for maintaining calmness.
“I want to take this opportunity to congratulate Hon.Simba Arati for being peaceful yesterday.Simba did not beat Osoro,it is osoro’s cheeks that moved towards Simba's hand,” Owino tweeted.

The brawl adds to the growing political intolerance in the country that has seen political meetings disrupted.
During the burial, Nairobi nominated Senator Millicent Omanga was also at the center of attention after being ejected from the venue.
This is after Omanga tried to snatch the microphone from Kisii governor James Ogwae, who was addressing mourners.
At the time, Ogwae was attempting to calm mourners after the Arati - Osoro fracas.
