The Kenya Met Department has released its weather forecast report for the next seven days.
In the forecast starting July 2 to July 8, the weatherman warned of cold conditions in the central highlands, western Kenya, south-eastern lowlands, and the Rift Valley.
Kenya Met disclosed that average night-time temperatures are likely to go below 10°C in some parts of the central highlands and the Rift Valley.
"Intermittent cold and cloudy conditions are expected in parts of the central highlands, western Kenya, south-eastern lowlands, and the Rift Valley. Average night-time temperatures are likely to be low (less than 10°C) in some parts of the central highlands and the Rift Valley," the Met Department stated.
On the other hand, the weatherman warned of high daytime temperatures exceeding 30°C in parts of the coast, north-eastern, and north-western Kenya.

According to the Met Department, rainfall is expected in parts of the central highlands, western Kenya, the Lake Victoria basin, the Rift Valley, and the Coast, but the rest of the country will be generally dry.
"Strong southerly to south-easterly winds with speeds exceeding 25 knots (12.9 m/s) are expected over some parts of the coast, the south-eastern lowlands, north-eastern and north-western Kenya," the weatherman added.
In the last forecast, the Met Department disclosed that rainfall was recorded in a few stations in the highlands west of the Rift Valley and the coast.
The weatherman added that day-time temperatures increased over some stations, including Voi, Garissa and Mombasa and decreased over Embu, Kakamega and Kitale.
