Mediamax Limited journalist Catherine Wanjeri was on Tuesday, July 16 shot while covering anti-government protests in Nakuru.
The journalist was allegedly shot in the thigh by police officers.
Reports indicate that Wanjeri was wearing a press jacket and had a press card during the shooting incident.
The Mediamax scribe was rushed to the Valley Hospital in Nakuru for immediate treatment.
Wanjeri was among three people who were shot at by the police in Nakuru. The second person was shot in the leg while the third one was shot in the back.
