At least 30 people including 26 pupils have been injured after being involved in an accident at the Sachangwan area along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
The accident happened on Monday, August 5 after a tow truck rammed into a school bus belonging to Rockside Academy bus from Nairobi.
The tow truck is reported to have lost control before ramming into the school bus and two other private vehicles.
The Rockside Academy pupils were heading to Nairobi from Eldoret after participating in the National Music Festivals Competition when the accident occurred.
The injured pupils were rushed to the Molo Sub-County Hospital and Nakuru Level Five Hospital for treatment.

Three teachers and a cook who had accompanied the pupils were also taken to the medical facilities. The occupants in the two other private vehicles escape the accident without any injuries.
The accident also caused a significant traffic snarl-up along the busy Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
Meanwhile, the wreckage of the Rockside Academy school bus and one of the private cars have been towed to the Molo Police Station.
The accident comes days after several students from Mbooni Girls High School sustained injuries after a PSV they were traveling in was involved in an accident along Kikima –Machakos road.
The driver of the bus belonging to Tawala Sacoo lost control before it swerved on the road and overturned leading to the injuries.
The students were taken to Kikima and Machakos Level 5 hospitals in Makueni and Machakos respectively for medication.
