The Kenya Meteorological Department has warned of high daytime temperatures in some parts of the Coast, North-eastern, and North-western Kenya for the next seven days.
In a weather forecast report on Tuesday, August 6, the weatherman disclosed that temperatures in the said regions will go above 30°C.
"High average daytime (maximum) temperatures of more than 30°C will be experienced in some parts of the Coast, North-eastern and North-western Kenya," Kenya Met stated.
The Coast consists of the counties of Mombasa, Tana-River, Kilifi, Lamu and Kwale while the North-eastern consists of Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa and Isiolo counties.
Turkana and Samburu counties make up the North-western Kenya region.

The department disclosed that most parts of the country will be sunny and relatively warm over the forecast period.
However, the weatherman warned of low nighttime temperatures below 10°C in some parts of the highlands East of the Rift Valley, the South-eastern lowlands and the Rift Valley.
"Sunny conditions and relatively warm daytime temperatures are expected over most parts of the country during the first half of the forecast period. These will give way to intermittent cold and cloudy conditions over some parts of the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Southeastern lowlands and the Rift Valley," the Kenya Met stated.
Additionally, the weatherman disclosed that rainfall is expected to continue in some parts of the highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, North-western Kenya, the Rift Valley and the Coast.
