Female Governors have urged Kenyans to elect more women leaders in the 2027 general election.

Speaking during the launch of the G7 strategy in Machakos on Friday, August 16, Governor Anne Waiguru said the group will rally Kenyans to support the re-election of female governors who will be seeking their second term in office and the election of additional ones to realize the G24 dream.

The CoG chair, who was accompanied by Governors; Wavinya Ndeti, Wanga, Mbarire, Fatuma Achani (Kwale), and Susan Kihika (Nakuru) asked women considering vying for positions in the upcoming 2027 general elections to count on support from G7.

“I want you to know that we are here for you. I want to assure you that you have our full support. Through this strategy, we are committed to providing the guidance and assistance you need to succeed,” Waiguru stated.
