The Ministry of Roads and Transport, State Department for Transport, has put up six vehicles for sale.
In an advertisement on Tuesday, August 20, the state department announced the sale of three Toyota Corollas, two Nordic trailers and a Toyota Prado.
Interested bidders are required to pay a refundable deposit of Sh20,000 for each of the Toyota Corollas and the Nordic trailers and Sh250,000 for the Toyota Prado.
The vehicles can be viewed by the bidders at the state department premises at Transcom House before placing their bids.
"Vehicles are sold on 'As is, where is' basis. Any offer received after bid closing date will not be considered. Viewing of the motor vehicles to be done at the specified storage yards before placing a bid," read part of the advertisement.

Bidders are to visit the Transport Ministry's website to obtain the tender documents adding that documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
"A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested bidders electronically from the website www.tenders.go.ke and/or www.transport.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge," the department stated.
It further maintained that the bids must be subitted on or before August 20.
The bids should be delivered to the State Department for Transport, P.O. Box 52692-00200, Transcom House, Ngong Road, Nairobi.
