Lawyer and activist Morara Kebaso has claimed that the National Intelligence Service (NIS) has embedded a mole in his team.
In a video shared on his X account on Monday, October 7, the lawyer linked the said mole to the accident in Embua and his recent attack at the Bomas of Kenya.
Kebaso alleged that following the road accident in Embu, efforts to identify the driver of the car had hit a dead end.
"When I got into an accident in Embu, I asked Kenyans not to speculate, but later I realized Kenyans were not wrong to be paranoid. Kenyans were actually right to be suspicious and I was wrong not to be suspicious because the car that did an accident was not owned by an individual but a company.
"When you search the CR12 of the company and check the directors, that is a dead end. The driver is someone we've looked for and we've not found him up to date. The car is still at Mukurweini Police Station," he said.

Additionally, Kebaso said the mole was working in cahoots with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) leading to his arrest and subsequent arrangement in Court.
"When I was arrested, there is a call that was made from this building [office], and that call was made to the DCI that I'm here. Somebody here was called and asked, 'Is the boss around', when the person confirmed, the DCI was called.
"When the DCI came to this office for an arrest, they did not guess, they didn't look for my office, remember this compound is so big with so many offices but they didn't look for my office, they came straight to my office as if they had the layout of the building," he added.
Further, Kebaso insinuated that his attack at the Bomas of Kenya was overseen by the NIS mole who failed to accompany him to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's impeachment Public Participation exercise despite living nearby.
"This person should have been at Bomas because why would the person miss when the entire team has joined me and the person lives near Bomas? Why did the person come to the office when I was not around and not join me at Bomas where is much nearer?
"So the NIS placed a person in my team a long time ago. When you research this person's history you are not able to know which Primary School they went to, they wiped their profile clean," he added.
Kebaso further claimed that there was an attempt to poison his food, however, noting that he is glad that it did not happen.
"If I wouldn't have known that we have a mole, I think by now I would be dead," he stated.
