The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has issued a directive to all motor vehicle dealers and repairers.

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has notified all tow truck operators, motor vehicle dealers, and repairers of a license revalidation exercise. 

In a notice on Tuesday, October 15, NTSA stated that the exercise would commence on November 11 and run up to November 22.

The authority directed all the tow truck owners, motor vehicle dealers, and repairers to complete and submit an online license revalidation form by Wednesday, November 6.

"Through this public notice, the authority informs all tow truck owners, motor vehicle dealers (new and second hand) and repairers of motor vehicles of a multi-agency license revalidation exercise scheduled from 11th to 22nd November 2024.

“All operators are therefore directed to complete and submit an online licence revalidation form available on the NTSA Website [www.ntsa.go.ke) on or before Wednesday, 6th November 2024,” read part of the notice.

The authority declared that a multi-agency team would conduct a physical inspection of the dealers' premises to verify the information submitted.

“As part of the exercise, the multi-agency team will conduct a physical inspection of the operators' premises to verify the information submitted through the online revalidation form,” NTSA stated.

The safety authority maintained that the accuracy of the information will be of utmost importance to avoid any inconveniences.

NTSA is responsible for registering and licensing motor vehicles and motorcycles, as well as conducting vehicle inspections and certifications.
