The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has dismissed reports of the diminishing state of Jogoo Road.
In response to a video that emerged on the internet on Thursday, November 14, the road agency described the video as misleading.
KURA explained that the features captured in the video were not representative of the area along the busy city road.
Therefore, Kenyans were called upon to disregard the video and avoid sharing the video on social media.

The video in reference had captured motorists hitting a large pothole at night after the rains.
"Please note, the video is misleading and does not represent any section along Jogoo Road," read the statement in part.
"We urge the public to be cautious and disregard any misinformation being shared online regarding the status of Jogoo Road."
KURA also maintained its commitment to enhancing mobility in the city and other urban roads in the country.
The response by KURA came after a section of Kenyans wondered why government agencies were not taking action over the pothole.
Some raised concerns over the accident risks that were posed by the large pothole.
