Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has shared dates and venues of the countrywide recruitment exercise for Kenyans interested in jobs abroad. 

In an update on Monday, November 18, the CS asked Kenyans who would be interested in the available jobs to prepare for the exercise.

Mutua also shared a list of available job positions, including slots for electrical engineers, civil engineers, nurses, teachers, paramedics, technicians, and electricians.

Others who will be recruited for the jobs are veterinary officers, mechanics, hostesses, male clerks, caregivers, hospitality, auto mechanics, blue color jobs, chefs, baristas, coffee roasters, cargo handlers, plumbers, security, male office boys, male store keepers, and meat processors.

Runners, packaging workers, car wash attendants, locksmiths, welders, cleaners, drivers, housekeepers, hairdressers, unit managers, formen, livestock formen, farm specialists, supply specialists, male gardener, lead operator, construction workers, support workers and service crew will also be considered for the jobs.

Mutua further noted that foresters, gardeners, safety officers, fire watchers, riggers, general laborers, beauticians, housemaids, and domestic workers would also be recruited for the jobs.

The recruitment exercise will run from November 20, 2024, to February 20, 2025.
