Milka Moraa, a woman who went viral after being humiliated by Pastor Ng'ang'a over rent, has landed an affordable housing unit.
Through the help of well-wishers, Milka began the process of acquiring a studio apartment at the Mukuru Meteorological Social Housing Site.
The cost of the house is estimated at Ksh640,000 and is self-contained with amenities including a kitchen area, bathroom and toilet.
Speaking to the media on Monday, February 3, Affordable Housing Acting CEO Sheila Waweru noted that Moraa would purchase the house progressively given that she had already secured a job paying her Ksh18,000 per month.

Waweru added that Kenyans online had already assisted her by raising Ksh400,000. The amount will be used to pay for the house deposit as she clears the mortgage progressively.
"Luckily with the help of Kenyans online, she has a job which is now paying her Ksh18,000 and with that, she can now afford a house in one of our projects - Mukuru which has 13,000 units undergoing construction currently," she stated.
"What we are looking to help Moraa get is a studio apartment."
On her part, Moraa thanked Kenyans for helping her adding that getting a house would be beneficial to her and her family.
"I was really heartbroken when the pastor humiliated me while I told him my predicaments, but I remained hopeful and it has turned out great," she stated.
