This comes weeks after EACC arrested a Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) employee who allegedly demanded a Ksh 300,000 bribe to restore electricity.
The complainant negotiated the amount down to Ksh 200,000 but refused to make the payment and instead reported the matter to the Commission.
EACC officers conducted a sting operation and apprehended the suspect while he was receiving the bribe.
