Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) has announced a variety of job vacancies in both administrative and academic roles.
In an advert, the institution invited applications from qualified candidates to fill multiple positions across different departments.
The administrative positions available include key roles such as Chief Security Officer, Senior Legal Officer, Computer Programmer, Senior Administrative Assistant for HR/Payroll, and various security-related positions.
Additional vacancies include roles for plumbers, electricians, drivers, and assistant procurement officers.
On the academic side, the School of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences is offering positions for lecturers in Educational Foundations, Religion, Early Childhood Development, History, Psychology, and Philosophy.

On the other hand, the School of Engineering and Technology has vacancies for a Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as well as lecturers in Quantity Surveying/Building Economics and Civil Engineering.
Additionally, the School of Business and Economics is looking to hire a lecturer in Entrepreneurship.
Further, there are academic positions available in the School of Informatics and Innovative Systems for lecturers specializing in Data Science and Information Systems.
The School of Health Sciences is hiring a Senior Lecturer in Nursing, while the School of Agricultural and Food Sciences has an opening for a Tutorial Fellow in Food Security and Consumer Economics.
Applicants must submit a detailed application letter, curriculum vitae, and certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
Those who are shortlisted will be required to provide clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority, Higher Education Loans Board, and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.
