The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has notified the motorists plying the Juja-Gatundu Road of an oncoming traffic disruption.
The road will be out of bounds for four days, between Friday, February 28, and Monday, March 3.
KeNHA revealed that the closure was occasioned by a planned installation of a cross culvert.
"The KeNHA would like to inform the public that Juja-Gatundu Road will be temporarily closed from Juja Stage Junction to Gatundu. This is to allow for installation of the cross culvert as from Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10.00pm to Monday, March 3, 2025, at 8.00pm," said the agency.

Motorists were advised to use alternative routes.
According to KeNHA, the Juja-Gatundu traffic will be diverted through the diversion at Equity Afia Medical Centre (Juja) Road to join Juja-Gatundu Road and Mucatha Road through Jomo Kenyatta University Way roundabout to join Thika Superhighway.
The agency revealed that traffic police officers and its marshals will be on site to control traffic, calling on the motorists to cooperate with them.
"KeNHA advises motorists to exercise caution as they approach the work areas and follow the proposed traffic management plan herein, as well as cooperate with the police and traffic marshals on site," it said.
