Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka had revealed details of the last conversation between Dela Ward MCA Yussuf Hussein Tolfiyo and his abductors.
Speaking after visiting the MCA in a hospital in Nairobi on Monday, March 10, Kalonzo stated that the ward representative was asked not to speak of his 6-month ordeal.
Kalonzo condemned the abduction, demanding action from the government.
"We join fellow Kenyans in thanking God for sparing the life of Wajir County Minority Leader Hon Ahmed Hussein. He has spent the last 6 months in unlawful custody. His abductors released him and told him to keep quiet about his ordeal," he stated.

"As the people's loyal coalition, we will continue to say no! to abductions. We will say yes! to observance of the rule of law and strict adherence to our Constitution."
The Wiper leader also claimed that they received information that the abductees were fed with one meal a day.
The abductees were also asked to take a lot of water - a move that he stated may have kept the MCA alive for the 6 months.
"We know that there is a special squad, complete with a doctor, and they are made to drink a lot of water. With one meal a day, they drink a lot of water. That is why the mheshiiwa came out alive.
"This is state-sponsored because who can get the services of a doctor?... We also want the abductors to be identified and prosecuted," he claimed.
The MCA was reunited with his family on Saturday evening after going missing in September 2024.
